Model
The model tab contains settings for the conversion and appearance of the rendered model.
Level of detail - for more details see the level of detail chapter.
Don't bevel transparent parts - since beveled transparent parts render very slowly, this checkbox disables beveling of transparent parts to speed up rendering.
Use part specific bevel sizes - some of the bricks have sharper edges, some of the have more round edges. This checkbox will include into scene file the file containing definition of the bevel sizes for some parts. Bevel sizes are defined as multiple of the default bevel size. So for example value 3.0 means that the part will have bevels with 3 times larger radius.
Use custom part bevel sizes - when checked, it is possible to select custom include file containing custom part bevels sizes. The file has to be in the LDD to POV-Ray™ Converter include directory and has to be named according to mask: ldd_*_part_bevels.inc. For example ldd_best_part_bevels.inc.
Custom part bevels file name - offers all files from the LDD to POV-Ray™ Converter include directory which are named according to mask: ldd_*_part_bevels.inc.
Use part position variances - part position variances is a feature that causes bricks to be slightly randomly moved and rotated to simulate building imperfections of a real model. When this checkbox is checked, scene file will include file containing definition of allowed part position variances. This defines for some bricks maximum allowed random movement and/or rotation.
Use custom part position variances - when checked, it is possible to select custom include file containing custom part position variances. The file has to be in the LDD to POV-Ray™ Converter include directory and has to be named according to mask: ldd_*_part_position_variances.inc. For example ldd_best_part_position_variances.inc.
